The lake views were a real highlight, especially from the restaurant, and we had a very pleasant stay. Veronica in the breakfast restaurant was especially welcoming and helpful, a real credit to the hotel. The reception team were friendly and efficient at both check-in and check-out. We did run into a few small issues. The fridge kept switching on and off, reception quickly fixed a power outage, and the toiletries weren’t fully replenished, so we ran out. Tea and coffee options were limited, and there were bath towels but no hand towels. Even with those things, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would happily recommend the hotel for the views and the service from Veronica and reception.

The bed was comfy, the views were amazing, and the hotel was lovely. Breakfast was really good too. Dinner is a la carte, and there isn’t a full-service restaurant.

The spa was a nice addition and made our stay more enjoyable, and the hotel has amazing lake views. It’s a nice place with a lot of potential, but it seemed quite understaffed and poorly managed, which was a shame. We paid extra for a panoramic room and did get a great view, but the glass door opened onto a public balcony. Anyone walking past could see straight into the whole room, so we had to choose between privacy and the view. A few vases on the floor marked off part of the balcony, but they didn’t really create any separation. Our family’s other room was called “Basic” and was just that. The rooms were okay, and we enjoyed our stay overall.

The view from our balcony was breathtaking, and waking up to the sun over the lake was a joy. Our room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The spa area was pristine too, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time in the spa and sauna. Reception staff were welcoming and happy to help with our questions. Breakfast was the one small letdown. The bacon and eggs were cold and slow to be replenished, there were no serving spoons at the buffet, and some tablespoons were missing from the cutlery. The other food was satisfying, though. I’d gladly recommend this amazing hotel to anyone visiting Piediluco. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

Really good breakfast, and the spa is beautiful. It costs an extra 10 euros per person, but I thought it was worth it. The hotel feels more luxurious than you might expect. It’s only a few minutes’ drive from the waterfalls, and they offer a big discount, so don’t buy tickets online. Definitely get a room with a view.
