Hotel Il Guscio

One of the best parts of our holiday in the area was staying here. Marco and his staff were fantastic and did more than expected to make us feel comfortable. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and breakfast was homemade and delicious. The lemon cake, made with lemons from the garden tree, was especially good. The location is great, close to everywhere. We’d definitely stay again. Thanks again, Marco.

The rooms have been renovated, and housekeeping is very good. The hotel is very nice, with an excellent breakfast and good value for money. The owner is incredibly friendly, welcomes guests personally, and even helps out at breakfast.

Room 11 was just right, with a sea-view balcony, spotless linens, and fresh new towels. It felt like a little boutique retreat. The beach is only a stone’s throw away, close enough to hear the waves, and the location gets 10 stars from me. Marco, the owner, really pays attention to each guest. He checks in with everyone over breakfast to see that they’re comfortable and have enough to eat. The food is excellent, and he and his girlfriend keep everything running smoothly. Marco even offered us a ride to the store and train station. It felt sincerely generous, and staying there was like being with family.
