Our wedding in April 2026 felt like something from a movie. Romignano is even more beautiful in person than the online pictures suggest, and the secluded setting made it feel like we had the place to ourselves. Chiara was wonderful, helping with taxis, local food tips, and anything else we needed. The flowers were incredible, and the food was lovely too. Huge thanks to the chef. We had the best time with our easygoing group and made memories we’ll keep for years. A car is a good idea if you want flexibility, since taxis can be hard to find early or late. Chiara connected us with local drivers who were practically our chauffeurs all week. Don’t let the bad reviews put you off. We’d come back in a heartbeat. Romignano doesn’t deserve the haters.

The grounds are beautiful, and the place feels wonderfully private and quiet. We spent a week here with 21 guests for our wedding, and everything went so well. The whole staff was kind and helpful. We can’t wait to return.

The villa was even better than we imagined, with authentic Tuscan decor, lots of different spaces to relax in, and spectacular views. We especially loved the sunsets and evening meals overlooking the vines and countryside. Our wedding day was the highlight. The weather was difficult and there were many details to manage, but the Romignano team pulled together to make it magical. They brought our mood boards to life, and the flowers and table decor looked stunning. It was exactly the right place for us to celebrate, and Romignano will stay special to us for years. We stayed five nights with 16 friends and family, and held the wedding there. The staff made the planning and the stay feel seamless, taking care of all the details so we could enjoy the day. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. We also had several breakfasts and dinners, with thoughtful menus and table settings. The food and wine were excellent, and the team handled everyone's dietary needs so well. The relaxed wine tasting before the rehearsal dinner was informative, and we loved having Romignano wines with our meals and on the wedding day.

We really liked the peaceful setting and views, the comfortable living area, and the pool. The staff were generally friendly, and the wine tasting was a highlight, though the wine was mediocre next to what we tried at another nearby estate. The property has potential, but it feels worn and needs a serious refresh. The website photos are glossy, so don't expect the Four Seasons. Our room wasn't soundproof, the bed was just okay, and the bedding felt dated and questionable in cleanliness. The furniture seemed worn out rather than charmingly old. There weren't many basic supplies. No bottle openers, only two rolls of toilet paper, and we were told to buy more at a nearby Carrefour at a premium. The kitchen wasn't well equipped for a group of 20, especially for making coffee. There were no cleaning supplies, so we had to buy our own to keep things hygienic. Our catered dinner by the vines sounded lovely, but didn't come together. The cold meats and cheese were fine, but the pasta, which we think had aubergine, was completely bland. I'd think twice about booking again unless the place is seriously updated.

The location, the wine, and some lovely places to relax, especially the top floor of the little house, were things I enjoyed. Water pressure was plentiful too, and the showers got properly hot. Still, many parts of our stay with a large group of friends were disappointing. When we arrived late at night, there weren't enough rooms ready for everyone, and no host or owner was available. It took nearly an hour for the extra little house we'd booked to be opened. The rooms were prepared, but the house had too little heat and ventilation, and the damp smell lingered all week. When we mentioned it, we were told heating had to be paid for, even though towels couldn't dry. That's not what I'd expect for a reasonable standard of accommodation. We were given drying racks, but they were put outside and got rained on. There was nowhere dry outdoors to leave things when the weather was bad, as it was during our stay. It might help to cover part of the patios. The little house kitchen was poorly equipped: no kettle, nothing to light the hob, and a moka pot that didn't work. Our organiser had checked ahead that the WiFi would suit us, but it didn't. An extra router was brought over, though it didn't seem to help. Reliable WiFi was only available at the very top of the big house, which wasn't ideal for 19 people when many of us were still working remotely. I had really looked forward to staying at Romignano. The setting is lovely, but too many other things fell short.
