The courtyard feels like a private, safe little oasis, and the place was very clean with lots of amenities. Getting to Capri, Naples, Pompeii, and the Amalfi Coast was easy from here. Our host was incredibly kind and helpful, and ended up being our translator, tour guide, organizer, and now a good friend. If you want a cultural base for seeing southern Italy, this is it.

Fortunato made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. He’s such a warm, friendly person, and the people in Terzigno were wonderful too. The garden and pool are spectacular and still feel private. The apartment was tidy and very clean, with air conditioning and everything needed for cooking. Pompeii, the Amalfi Coast, Sorento, and Capri are nearby, while the area itself isn’t crowded. We had a wonderful few days and I’d definitely recommend it.
