Breakfast was generous and freshly made, with eggs included, and the bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom felt clean and welcoming. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot surrounded by greenery, with indoor parking. Mrs. Ines gave us a lovely welcome.

I’m writing as the sister. I paid a deposit in January to reserve a room with one double bed and one single bed, but the reservation never came through. I hadn’t made any arrangements with her myself. I only passed the number to my sister, who had to call repeatedly and send a message because there was no answer. When I asked whether there were enough rooms for our other friends, I was told it was an apartment with no extra rooms. At least they were lucky! Four people sharing one double bed for three days isn’t a good idea, in my view. I really don’t recommend it.

We had a great time, and it was nice coming back there in the evenings. Ines and Tiziano were warm and friendly from the moment they welcomed us. It was my first stay at a B&B, and a very positive one. My wife, two friends, and I would happily stay at 5 Palme again when we return to Friuli, which is very likely. I’d definitely recommend it. The whole apartment was spotless and tidy, from the rooms to the bathroom, and we didn’t find anything missing. The owners are lovely people who made sure we had everything we needed. It felt just like home. And a special “Obligation to pay cuddles” for the wonderful dog, Lady. 😀
