Ansitz Gurtenhof - Andreas Hofer

I've stayed at Ansitz Gurtenhof in both August and October 2025, and each time it felt easy to settle in and relax. The Knoll family are lovely hosts, and the house is beautiful and well cared for. The apartments are furnished with care, and the garden is a great place to unwind. I travel with my dog. In October I paired my stay with a visit to Tisens and Lake Garda, and the apartment right by the dog beach in San Benedetto was ideal. I couldn't ask for better. I'll definitely be back, and I'm grateful for the lovely stays!

We felt very much at home and would happily return. This was our first stay at the Gurtenhof, and we had a fantastic time. The place is beautiful, with lovely attention to detail, and the surroundings are stunning too. It was wonderfully peaceful, the welcome was warm, and we wanted for nothing.

We stayed at Ansitz Gurtenhof in June 2025, and our dog was welcome and quickly felt at home. The apartment had everything we needed, including wonderful spring water from Tisens straight from the tap. The centuries-old building, with its thick walls, and the carefully landscaped garden make the whole property feel special. The Knoll family were so warm and helpful. We'll treasure the memories of our visit for a long time. Tisens is somewhat away from the busier parts of South Tyrol, which made the stay all the more enjoyable for us. There are fewer inns and restaurants than in some other towns, but that wasn't a problem when the few places there served such good food. We highly recommend Tisens, and especially Ansitz Gurtenhof.

The historic house has a charm of its own, and its renovation shows real attention to detail. Our place was spacious, clean, and very well located. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic time at Ansitz Gurtenhof and would highly recommend it. Thanks so much! 🙏🏼
