The food was easily the best we’ve had in the past year, even though we live in a big city known for its restaurants and Michelin-star dining. We booked lunch at short notice as the finale to our holiday, and the meal never felt rushed. We sat for three and a half hours, with plenty of time to enjoy a bottle of local white and never any impatience for the next dish. The server suggested a lovely Arneis that worked well with the vegetable and fish courses, without pushing anything more expensive. The wine stayed at the right temperature in a bucket nearby, and our glasses were kept topped up just right. We sat indoors by a glass window looking into the kitchen, where it was charming to see the team’s warmth. The dishes were inventive and full of flavor. The four-course tasting felt more like 7-8 courses, with an amuse bouche, bread and olive oil, cookies with espresso, and extra bites at the end as a digestif. The sous chef personally presented two courses and came back at the end to check on us. We paid about 230 euro, which felt very fair. Can’t recommend it enough.

The location was great, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. We had Christmas lunch here, and the food was excellent. Everything was just right. We’ll definitely come back.

The service was excellent at this one Michelin star restaurant. Some dishes tasted good, while others were less enjoyable. The tasting menu has a lot of fish and seafood.
