Hotel Castello

We had a wonderful stay with my fiancée, dad, and his partner. The rooms are cozy and clean, with a beautiful lake view. They were quite small, but big enough for two people. Breakfast was simple but nice, and dinner on the second-floor terrace was very tasty. The staff were incredibly friendly. They let us check in late, provide the documents when it suited us, and check out at a time that worked for us. The drive up to the village was easy, on a wide, well-maintained road. There is private parking, reached from the public parking area near the hotel, so ask reception how to get there. Don't drive up to the hotel entrance! Really great hotel. I'll definitely come back. 👏

The owners were the highlight for us. We felt so welcome, and their warm smiles and helpful attitude left a lasting impression. We didn't come across any shortcomings, but their hospitality would have outweighed minor ones. Other hotel owners could learn from them. We were thrilled with our stay at Hotel Castello. We hadn't researched the area very well beforehand, but stumbled on the beautiful, hilly side of Lake Garda and don't regret it at all. The hotel is near the center of charming old Tignale, great for a leisurely walk. Parking was close and free. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We liked the vintage style, and breakfast was fantastic, with something for all tastes. We highly recommend Hotel Castello for a visit to the Lake Garda hills. We only came for dinner and didn't book a room. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly to us and our kids. I recommend it.

I arrived at Albergo Castello in a difficult spot, looking for a bed after another place had turned me away. The people there listened, understood, and did their best to help. Their kindness was beyond what I expected, and they really restored my faith in humanity. I wish I knew their names. I gave them a hug before leaving. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, with the nicest view of the lake. There was plenty of breakfast for everyone, and it was excellent. I'd go back to Albergo Castello any time because they made me feel at home. Many thanks, Hotel Castello. And the wine was really good too, grazie!
