Albergo Gusmeroli

A friendly, comfortable family run hotel in a central spot for restaurants, rail, and the Bernina Express. Breakfast was included in our booking and was good. There’s no lift, but Roberto was wonderful about helping with our bags. Thanks for a great stay.

The shower was top notch, and the rooms were nice and very clean. The views are amazing, and you can tell the owners take pride in what they do. Breakfast was European style, really tasty, with their own baked bread and a young lady helping you put your plate together. Prices are very fair. If you enjoy footy, come on a weekend: it’s a wonderful atmosphere for people watching, and you can have a beer or two with the locals. Come stay and have your Disney dreams come true. Honestly, 11 out of 10. Not sure what else to say.

Right in the center, with parking in front of the hotel for 0.4€/ hr. The man at reception, who I guess was managing the place, was supportive and gave us helpful tips on where to go and eat, and which train to take. We took Regional train R9 from Tirano - St. Moritz. Fantastic hotel and staff. Highly recommend it, and I’m sure I’ll come back. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed one night in Tirano on the way to St. Moritz, and the hotel was right on the river, only a few blocks from the station. We got a room with a queen size and twin size bed. The service was incredibly friendly, and they served us a wonderful local dinner with wine and bread. It was our first taste of Chisciöl, which seemed to us like a buckwheat pancake with cheese inside. The meal was a highlight of our trip. The hotel exceeded our expectations, and we’d definitely stay again.
