I was hoping to stay here instead of Lake como to make the following day easier for us. I messaged them on WhatsApp to ask about the room and gave them the dates I might come. After I said I planned to book through Expedia instead of directly with the hotel, I noticed prices on all the booking platforms went up by 30€ right away. It felt really dishonest, so I decided against staying.

It was clean and new, but I left disappointed. There was no breakfast, although they said they’d sent me that information and I hadn’t seen it. The bed was very uncomfortable for me, despite them saying it was the best bed. My window looked onto an interior staircase, and I had to climb two flights while carrying my two-year-old child.

The room had a fridge, air conditioning, and a comfortable bathroom, and the staff were friendly. It’s a great spot for catching an early train, such as the 8 am Bernina Express, since the station is literally a one-minute walk away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby too.

The best part was the location, close to food and the city’s main square, and right across from the Bernina Express. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed, microwave, and a minimal kitchen. WiFi was slow and unreliable, the only real problem.

The room was clean and warm, and the location worked perfectly for catching the Bernina train. Really nice place.
