Relais Merizzi

This is the kind of place I imagine having when I’m older and retired, running a bed and breakfast and making people happy. It’s the best B&B I’ve stayed in so far, and I’m still in awe of the place and the people who look after it. I’m 100% sure I’d come back to stay again if I get another chance to visit Tirano. The breakfast setup was amazing. They let us choose for ourselves and put out so many options: bread with little heart shaped labels showing each flavor, still and sparkling water, juices like pomegranate, mango, pineapple, and peach, plus iced tea in the fridge. There was regular milk, lactose free, soy, and more. I counted nine tea flavors, and the coffee capsules ranged from decaf and light to medium and level 10, with a milk frother too. Lots of biscuits, some salty and some sweet, filled ones, crunchy ones, soft breads, biscoff style ones, and two kinds of cereal as well. The bed was nice, firm and cushy, from IKEA. The bathroom, bedroom, and breakfast area were all so clean. They seem like meticulous people, and I looooove that. The bathroom even had feminine soap, something I rarely find elsewhere, a small touch that showed how much attention they pay. They also left food and drinks in the bedroom, so you didn’t have to go to the breakfast area if you were feeling lazy. There were cupboards separating all the utensils, from little plates and bowls to glasses, cups, and spoons, so you didn’t have to worry if someone else was eating there. There’s a big TV in the breakfast area in case you want news or something to have on while eating, and a display cabinet with brochures about what’s going on in town. They took good care with COVID prevention too. There’s also a small elevator for luggage, so big bags aren’t a problem. Even the sharp table corners were covered so you wouldn’t hurt yourself if you bumped into them. I’d only seen that kind of detail in places with kids’ facilities before. PS: Sorry about the video and photos I took. I was so tired then, so the bedroom was a bit chaotic haha, but I hope you can still see how happy we were!

Perfect 🌹😍 We’ll definitely come back. The rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is good and generous, and the location is just awesome.

Very clean, and the owner was helpful and attentive to the details. I’d stay again.
