Watching sunset over Merano from the terrace with a bottle of wine was unforgettable. It’s also a great base for hikes, though the hills are steep, so you should be used to hiking. The hosts put on a generous breakfast with just about every kind of thing you could want. Later in the day there’s a self-service area with coffee, tea, wine, beer, ice cream and more. The view over Merano is magical.

We loved the quiet setting just outside the village, with hiking trails close by, and our daughter had a great time at the pool and playground. The views over Dorf Tirol and Merano are beautiful, and the welcome and hospitality made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. We’d be happy to come back.

The breakfast buffet was far better than we expected, and the woman serving breakfast, along with the hosts, was friendly and helpful. The accommodation sits above the village, with a great view of Merano and the mountains. A fantastic place to stay.

We only spent five days here, but had a really enjoyable stay. The Meran apartment was clean, had plenty of space for two, and was equipped with everything we needed. We especially liked eating lunch and dinner on the balcony overlooking the valley, and relaxing by the pool. The hosts were warm and friendly, and made a real effort to help us have a restful holiday. A very welcoming place.
