A lovely, honest place to rest and enjoy a few nights. It isn't five-star glam camping, but the price per stay is fair, and I had an awesome time. Susanne is an awesome host who really cares about her visitors and is super helpful. She speaks several languages, including Italien, English and German. I also liked the respect they show for nature and resources.

It's a small area, but has what you need: clean, adequate facilities in a quiet, peaceful setting and a well-kept garden. The family who owns it was kind and helpful, and the other guests were friendly. We felt like family. Don't be put off by the road or the closed gate when you arrive. There's an intercom to reach the owner, who welcomed us warmly.

We felt very comfortable here and will definitely stop again when we're passing through. It's a small, family-run private campsite, ideally placed for visiting Tivoli's villas and old town. The motorway is relatively close, though the access roads are narrow. It's a good idea to call ahead, as Susanne speaks good German. There are toilets, showers for a fee, and washing-up areas, though unfortunately the water there is cold. You can dispose of campervan waste and fill up with fresh water. Pitches have either 4 or 6 amps of electricity for an extra 5 euros.
