Inside, the apartment was spacious and nicely furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen that made it easy to feel at home. The hosts were generous with the welcome pack, and Carlo was quick to respond and communicate. It's close to Villa d'Este and has parking, though reaching the space takes some care because the road is one-way and steep. Finding the apartment was tricky. It's set back from the main street on a hill among lots of tall buildings, and I walked up and down looking for it without success. Luckily, Carlo was watching for us and came out into the street to meet us.

The parking space was a real bonus. The apartment was very clean, and the host was kind.

There was no window in our room, and the jacuzzi left the room and our belongings completely wet. The damp air made it impossible to charge my iPhone. Breakfast was only two stale croissants.
