Marco was the final piece that made this stay work so well. He’s warm, friendly, and eager to help, and even picked us up at the train station. When we needed a transfer to a nearby Castle for a wedding and then a ride back to the airport in Rome, he sorted it out and drove us safely. If you need help finding Residenza, ask and you’ll get reassurance. The wedding brought us toward Tivoli by chance, but choosing the town and Residenza Carlandi were both great decisions. Tivoli has beautiful fountains and villas, lovely al fresco dining, and mountain scenery overlooking a vast plain. Residenza Carlandi is in the town centre, right for all the sights. The suites have a nice set of well-equipped rooms; the double rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, and a group taking all the rooms would be set up for a terrific stay. The facilities are superb.

Marco made us feel like old friends visiting, not guests at a B&B. He was so welcoming and helpful, like a guide and concierge rolled into one. We spent three nights at Residenza Carlandi and highly recommend it. The rooms are superb, with modern fittings inside a 16th century building. Sleeping beneath the 500-year-old ceiling fresco by Zucchari was amazing. The entrance is steps from the centre of Tivoli, a charming town, and Villa D’Este is just a short walk away. Outstanding.

The beds, including the pull-out couch, were soft and comfortable, and the apartment had excellent AC and nice amenities. These are great central apartments. There isn’t much room to lounge if someone is sleeping on the pull-out couch.

The host meets you, takes you to a parking lot, then walks you to the apartment. It’s right in the old town’s pedestrian area, and many attractions are easy to reach on foot. Can’t beat that.

Manuel was always ready to help, and reminded me of my Italian family members when I was young. The apartment was excellent and huge, with so much space in a 600-year-old palazzo. The location is next level, with loads to see and do. It was a bit hard to find even with GPS, but Manuel was just a phone call away. We’re already talking about coming back.
