The food ended up being the highlight, with delicious meals made from fresh ingredients from the farm. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, and managed to accommodate our group of 17. There was nothing we didn’t like, and the whole visit was a lovely surprise. The rooms were spacious and extremely clean, and the olive trees, vineyards, and peaceful surroundings were beautiful. The kids could spend time around the animals, and we could visit nearby towns. We hadn’t expected much because there was no pool, which can be a drawback in August, but we had a very pleasant stay.

WARNING. The service was unbelievably bad, with no information given at all. We booked through booking.com with a credit card, and nobody told us to pay at reception, so we believed it had already been paid. After checkout, when we’d reached our next destination, they called and threatened to call the police unless we returned within 15 minutes to pay. We were shocked. Is threatening guests really how you treat them? We drove back for over an hour to pay and apologize for the misunderstanding. The boss just said, “I’m not interested.” I thought a boss would care about customer satisfaction, but apparently not. Don’t come here. It ruined our last day in beautiful Italy!

We only stayed briefly, but the hosts made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean, and both breakfast and dinner were good. Recommended.

Everything was fresh, and the setting was quiet and bucolic. The food was great quality and really cheap!
