Gabriella was awesome and helped a lot with our stay. She speaks both English and Italian. We loved the house and its setup, and the lake is super close. The lake looked beautiful this time of year, and there's also a small creek on the property that looks great. We'd recommend it and come back if we get the chance!

The rate was €120 a night, which felt outrageous to me. I know the area is very touristy and people, especially Germans who often have lots of money, may be willing to spend that much, but come on, it didn't seem right. These things really get to you when you don't have much money and try to take some time for yourself, only to end up in a place like this. I'm not blaming the manager for the state of the caravan's garden, but the photos made the place look more spacious. In reality it was very narrow, with nowhere to stroll. One of the attractions is a stream with barely more flow than a faucet, and it's reached from the garden of a caravan that I believe is also part of Boschetto. That area had beer bottles, shoes, and socks lying around. The hostess herself was friendly and accommodating, and dogs were welcome without any problem. Breakfast was another disappointment. We've visited various places, and owners of farmhouses and B&Bs often compete to make delicious breakfasts, usually with homemade food. Here we found a thermos of very weak coffee and Mulino Bianco biscuits in an outside cupboard. The apartment entrance was through a narrow gap between the house and a wall. It had only one window, in the kitchen-living room, so the bedroom was dark and the bathroom felt suffocating. The 1980s camping stoves seemed quite dangerous to me, and the sink was really hard to access. And a general comment on the area: people were on the "beach" with the Gardesana road just three meters behind them, carrying thousands of cars each day, especially on weekends. The motorcycles were absurdly noisy too. In several hamlets, dogs had to be on a leash and muzzled, and swimming was often prohibited. If you're hoping for a couple of quiet days at the lake, rethink it. I found nothing quiet there. The parking lots were full, and I wondered what peak season is like. I escaped to Mount Baldo to look for cooler, quieter places.

The hostess was very nice, but that didn't make up for how the apartment left us feeling. We were two adults and a one-year-old, and it was unsuitable for four people. There was hardly any natural light, and even the entrance was dark. We weren't comfortable there, and our little one didn't want to stay inside any longer than necessary. Such a shame, our days off felt ruined.

A nightmare. Almost a month later, I'm still waiting for the receipt. The place was cramped, and if all three rooms are rented, the lack of privacy is embarrassing. The management was dreadful. A feral cat wandered around loose and bit my feet on the second day. I had to get emergency medical help and a tetanus shot. Their insurance company says it's not responsible. The owner promised a refund, but there was no sign of it, just a discount on another night's stay. No thanks. A terrible choice, never again. Sad.

The setting is enchanting, tucked into the woods, clean, and conveniently close to the lake. Gabriella was wonderful, kind and friendly, and always available. Staying here was a genuinely pleasant surprise. I highly recommend a visit!
