Residence La Guirita

The staff were very kind and helpful, and I had a great time here. It’s a good choice for a family holiday: the rooms are new and spacious, and there’s a lovely pool where kids can play or relax. The place is easy to manage with strollers, even double ones, and the sea is just steps away. There’s also a special arrangement with the excellent Tartaruga resort. Just be aware that extras are expensive. There’s no oven or microwave in the rooms, and they charge €20 per week for one. Laundry is a bit limited too, with only one washing machine.

The apartment I had was very spacious, with a kitchen and living area, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large terrace with a table, laundry area and, best of all, a sea view. The building is new and very clean, and it’s clear they take good care of it. Midweek they tidy the rooms and change the towels and tablecloths; sheets are changed once a week. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and made me feel at home. I’d recommend the place. My one reason for giving four stars instead of five is the Wi-Fi. A residence this good, on par with well-known hotels in seaside resorts, should offer more than one free hour a day. It disconnects every ten minutes or so, then you have to reconnect through Facebook or Google Plus. This isn’t a rejection, just a warm suggestion to Sandro and his son Luca to consider improving it.

The apartment was clean, practical and cleaned twice a week. Reception staff were friendly, easygoing and helpful. The residence is five minutes on foot from the beach, and includes a parasol and two sun loungers. Guests can use the outdoor pool at any time. You can also rent an underground parking space, and it fits taller vehicles like SUVs, which isn’t typical of local buildings.

My relatives were very happy with their stay. They’d come from abroad for a seaside holiday in Tortoreto, and I joined them for one night after asking Mr. Marconi if that was okay. The apartments are genuinely spacious, functional and comfortable, with a small terrace that helps you feel at home. The main town amenities and the beach are both just a short walk away. The pools and hot tub are beautiful!
