Incanto delle Ninfe

Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the sea was priceless. The B&B is right by the water, halfway between Taranto’s center and the Salento coast, and I’d love to stay again. I spent two nights here with a friend. Massimo was welcoming, made sure the apartment was warm and clean, and even gave us a free upgrade from what we’d booked. Definitely recommend it!

A lovely B&B in a nice spot near the sea, but the room is small and clutter gets in the way. The in-room fridge is noisy at night, and not only then.

The view of the sea is stunning, and there’s a well-equipped beach club nearby, but our room was very basic during our three-night stay. A few small changes could help, like adding a hook for towels and providing more soap and shampoo. Two sachets weren’t enough for two people over three days, so I had to go buy more. The coffee cups were sticky, so I got coffee at the bar and bought disposable cups. The bathroom radiator was rusty, leaving nowhere to put my towel. The owner was helpful and offered restaurant information, but that alone isn’t enough. There’s potential here, but it’s not being used. What a shame!

We’d recommend the property for its excellent beachfront location, clean room, and welcoming, helpful staff. Breakfast wasn’t included, but they gave us coffee from the room’s capsule machine and pastries for our whole stay. A few details need attention, including proper bedside tables and chairs without rust. We gave it 4 stars because we couldn’t pay by card. They only told us on arrival that the POS terminal was faulty, which seems unlikely since there was no receipt.
