Grandma serves a fantastic breakfast in the morning. She doesn’t speak English, but she’s so sweet you’ll want to take her home. When we arrived, father and son welcomed us with espresso and homemade biscotti. It’s a comfortable family home that’s been fully renovated into a B&B, and staying here gives you a lovely sense of relaxed Italian life. The family is very friendly and service-minded. There’s parking on site, and quaint restaurants and cafe/bars are only a few minutes’ walk away in the little historic town. The village is a 10-minute drive from the larger beach town and makes a good base for day trips around the region. I visited in December, and since old houses get cold, I was glad to find a big extra wool blanket in the room.

My wife and I stayed for one night last September 6, 2025, while we were on our way home. We were struck by the location, the furnishings, and the garden, as well as how exceptionally clean everything was. The two owners were also very hospitable and kind. The price matched the quality really well. If I’m ever in the area again, I’d definitely stay at least one night. Highly recommended.

Alberto was wonderful company, very hospitable, and always available. We’ll definitely be back. The villa is beautiful, with every detail carefully looked after, and the location has an enchanting panoramic view. There are lots of traditional restaurants just steps away. Tortoreto Lido is a 10-minute drive, with plenty of amenities and beautiful beaches and sea.

Parking came in handy, especially with excellent restaurants nearby that get packed with holidaymakers from the surrounding areas in the evenings. Breakfast was varied and high quality, and the locals were so friendly and kind. The property is beautiful and very well kept. Alberto and the owner gave us a warm welcome, and the large, well-maintained garden was a lovely place to relax. I’d gladly return.

Tortoreto Alto is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful region. We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Mascitti, a special place with comfortable rooms and stunning views across both the sea and hills. The villa is stylish and well maintained, and the garden is full of flowers and cared for beautifully. Alberto had everything we needed.
