The included breakfast was good, and the bar is recommended for “coffee time.” Still, our stay was a negative experience, especially for the price: €90 for one night for four people felt excessive. We waited an hour, maybe longer, for the owner before we could get into our room. It was dusty in all the obvious places, above and below the beds, on the furniture, in the curtains, seemingly everywhere. It was so unpleasant that we cleaned the bare minimum ourselves. The shower was old and in poor condition, and the beds were very uncomfortable and hard. There were no mosquito screens, so we had trouble with mosquitoes and felt it was best not to open the windows.

This centrally located B&B is in a house from the 1970s. The smell of cigarettes has seeped throughout the place because so many have been smoked inside. The host didn’t seem willing to provide the service expected. He just blurted out, “Sorry, I forgot to mention that breakfast isn’t included if you book with him; if you’re not happy with it, you can cancel.” The sheets were dirty, and children upstairs kept us awake until 2 a.m. I wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s a good B&B and very convenient for exploring Trapani and the surrounding area. The magnificent Basilica and Sanctuary of Maria SS dell'Annunziata (Madonna di Trapani) is just a short walk away. There’s also an excellent self-service restaurant, Gambero Rosso, near the Basilica where you can get lunch or breakfast.

We booked through booking. The host was wonderful, the coffee was good, and the place was clean. The rooms have a somewhat dated, vintage look, but they’re fine for a quick getaway. The location is central and makes it easy to get around.

The area was very quiet, and I never had trouble with noise, even sleeping with the window open. There’s plenty of parking nearby, which makes this a great choice if you have a car. It’s around a 10-minute drive, or less, to both the beach and the city center. The owner walked me through check-in and gave me all the information I needed. My room was spacious and cleaned every day. I’d highly recommend it.
