A lovely spot to cool off in the clear water or get out of the heat under the trees. The views over Trapani and Erice are spectacular.

Great place to stop and rest in the middle of the day. The beach is small and pretty rocky, so it’s uncomfortable without shoes, and there’s a particular smell ;-)

I spent nearly every evening at this little beach. It’s charming and peaceful, with a very local feel and none of the tourist bustle. People come here for a stroll or to watch the sunset. There are stone seats below, with lovely views of Erice, and a small lookout above. Trapani is known for its salt fields and its long tradition of harvesting sea salt. Sunsets in this part of the island are said to be among the best, and this is apparently a good spot to watch the sun go down over the Tyrrhenian Sea. If you’re in Trapani, it’s well worth a visit.

At Caletta San Liberale, Trapani, it’s all about taking a moment to pause and look around. You can’t swim there, but the quiet, tucked-away setting has an intimate feel and some really special views.
