BB Royal

Fabrizio was incredibly kind and helpful, and the B&B was spotless. The shower actually worked properly, which was a welcome change. I loved all the little details, too, and breakfast was generous, with brand-name products. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a wonderful break in this wonderful city.

We never got to stay. The owner said he hadn’t received confirmation of my payment through text messages, although I’d told him there that I would make the bank transfer that evening. The payment had, of course, been made 10 days before we were due to arrive. We only received the cancellation notice 2 days before departure. Maybe I should have made it clearer that the transfer had gone through. It’s a shame, since the many positive reviews had made me really look forward to staying there. But if you don’t want to lose a customer, call before canceling without a reason. I did get my payment refunded, obviously, but I’d much rather have stayed than had to scramble to find somewhere else. 👎

The road-facing room was too noisy, though the breakfast was good. For the price, it was a decent B&B stay.

The city center is a bit of a distance away. The rooms were really comfortable, and everything felt new and very clean.
