Cortile Antico

The room was dark, with no regular window, and we could hear every step from the guests above us. The bathroom was tiny, so if you wear XXL or larger T-shirts, you may not be able to get into the shower or use the toilet. On the plus side, the location is handy: 50 meters from a main street, 50 meters from the nearest bakery, and 500 meters from the bus and train station. The Wi-Fi was good, we had no problems during our stay, and the staff were helpful and friendly. They spoke good English, which is a real treasure for a non-Italian tourist.

We keep coming back to stay here whenever we're in Trapani. Silvia, thank you for taking such good care of your guests and for your hospitality! It's a beautiful place, and I highly recommend it. Hope to see you again soon. carmen & giuseppe

A really nice experience.

The mezzanine was low and cramped, with no room for anyone over 140 cm to stand upright. The rooms were gloomy and had just a couple of small tilt-and-turn windows. Damp had affected nearly every wall, with cracked plaster throughout. Water leaked from the wall beneath the air conditioner, and the unit leaked too, leaving a puddle about a meter across on the floor. After we reported it, they only mopped up. Cleaning was poor: the floors were sticky and stained, used soap bars were left in the shower, and there were used cotton swabs on the floor and dead ants on the kitchen counter.
