Such a lovely place.

Getting in was simple with the mailbox check-in, and the owner was really pleasant and helped us a lot in the morning. This was a good base for our trip around Sicily: the accommodation was basic but clean, in a great spot near restaurants, shops, the center, and the beach. We could make coffee, and breakfast included a croissant. Street parking is possible, but check the street-cleaning rules carefully. Our car was towed. There’s paid public parking about 500 m away if needed. We recommend it.

We had a ground-floor apartment with a full kitchen, a roomy bedroom, and a spacious bathroom, and it worked well for us as a young couple traveling with our 3-year-old. The neighborhood was quiet and there was free street parking. A bar, two supermarkets, bike and car rentals, plus restaurants and pubs were nearby, and the center was an easy walk. The air conditioning didn’t work while we were there, so they brought us a fan. Outside noise was the main drawback: it wasn’t common at night, but street cleaners or garbage trucks could be heard late and early in the morning.

Errico was very kind and attentive to his guests, and breakfast was delicious. The B&B is conveniently placed, with free parking and the center just a few minutes away on foot. Still, the rooms and bathrooms could have been cleaner, and some disposable items had already been opened. The price felt excessive for the service we received.
