Agriturismo La Valbona

The staff, especially the owner, were so kind and ready to help. Set in a quiet hamlet in the countryside, the place is just off the embankment road toward Pavia, with lovely routes nearby for a walk or bike ride. Our room had a rustic feel that suited the agriturismo, but it had been renovated recently and was comfortable and welcoming, with a spacious, pleasant bathroom. The cooking was superb, with good ingredients, generous servings, and very reasonable prices. A lovely spot for a little time in the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Dinner was a highlight, with a great choice of dishes made from quality ingredients typical of the Pavia area. Thanks especially to Laura for the delicious tarts. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the service was attentive. Just a short walk from the banks of the Po River, you can hear the water and birdsong and feel surrounded by nature. Highly recommended.

Everyone who hosted us added thoughtful touches and made even our short stay one to remember. We were welcomed so warmly and kindly, and the room was just right. The meals were delicious too. Thank you so much, and we hope to come back soon.

There’s a nice option to eat here, and the pool is available in summer. Lovely place. Well done!
