That view was superb. The holiday apartment is well worth recommending, though the tiny 70x70 cm shower costs it a star.

The view was the one good thing about our stay. We were woken every day at 5:50 a.m. when the water was shut off and turned back on, and the unshaded skylight over the sleeping area made it far too bright. There was also a lot of noise from the football pitch, both the matches and loud music, and dozens of pool rules. For what we paid, it fell nowhere near worth the money.

Apartment 08. The price is anything but affordable, and the only compensation we got was a feeble apology. The disruption still stuck with us throughout the holiday. We can put up with a lot, but not having water every day from 10 pm until 6 am. We checked, and this has apparently been going on for years and will continue for years, only in this residence. So drought and climate change have NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. Unfortunately, they tell you about the problem only after you have paid. We're not on holiday in the barracks.

Apartment 58 was one of the worst places I’ve stayed. The pool is barely usable for kids because of two pages of rules that the staff enforce very strictly. When it’s busy, guests are split into groups and assigned specific days and times. During our week there were football matches on Saturday, Sunday, and Thursday, about 100-200 meters away as the crow flies, with celebrations carrying on late. Our 5-month-old baby couldn’t sleep. The water situation was awful too. The shower was either cold or hot, with no comfortable setting, and the hot water ran out after about a minute. Fresh water took another 2-3 minutes to come through, and the pressure was terrible. A technician came after a quick phone call and changed the shower head, but it hardly improved either the pressure or temperature. The water was shut off around 10 p.m. and turned back on shortly before 6 a.m., making loud noises that woke us. The dishwashing cup brush had dark hair on it, and the VELUX skylight couldn’t be darkened. With a bigger car like a V Class or T6, make sure you get a ground-floor apartment because the upper parking spots are too small. Even the space set aside for larger vehicles only works if three cars park there instead of five. The TV was tiny, smaller than my 27-inch PC monitor, and too far from the nearest outlet to plug in without an extension cable. There wasn’t one provided. Once home, we emailed all these complaints and got excuses, plus a claim that we were the only guests who felt this way. They said other guests during that period felt the opposite. That surprised me, since they replied just one day after our email. They probably hadn’t asked everyone else in those few hours.
