Hotel san Leonardo

The fish was amazing, and the service was really friendly. We found the desserts too sweet for our taste, though.

There wasn't a kettle, cups, or a refrigerator in the room, and you could hear a lot between rooms. The mattress also smelled of smoke, even though smoking is banned and there are alarms. We raised it with the administrator in the morning. She said she'd do something, but nothing was done, and they wouldn't give us another room. The Wi-Fi was basically unusable. My phone either couldn't see the room's access point at all or picked up a very weak signal. The fire detectors on the ceiling kept flashing their LEDs, lighting up the whole room in the dark. It was impossible to sleep.

We had a great quick lunch here. The beef tagliata was superb and big enough for two. The front terrace gets a bit noisy, but there's a quieter one at the back.

Watching the sunrise over the snow-covered mountain at breakfast was a real treat, and the view and service were fantastic. The room was quite bare, though, and the shower cubicle was tiny.
