We spent two nights at Zampugna and loved it. Riccardo was an amazing host. When we got a flat tire, he took time out of his day to translate for us with the Italian auto shop, and we were back on the road within a few hours. The rooms are rustic but very clean. We also enjoyed the pool and BBQ area, and had lovely neighbours during our stay. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back!

Zampugna is stunning and peaceful, with spacious apartments. We first came in 2023 and, even though we're from Australia, knew right away it was where we wanted to get married. Riccardo is so lovely. We can't wait to visit many more times in the years ahead.

The apartment was thoughtfully decorated, and we loved how quiet the property was, despite the 10-minute drive to the nearest town along dirt back roads. It's a small, family-owned place with a gorgeous setting and a great pool with magnificent views. The staff were moderately helpful and nice. The room itself had several problems: the fridge didn't seem to work properly, there were bugs including wasps inside even with the windows shut, the shower leaked a lot, and the tap water tasted a bit off. For location and ambience, five stars. For the room itself, two.

The views and pool area are beautiful, and the villa looks very pretty from outside. But inside, the rooms feel dated, with old furniture and extremely uncomfortable mattresses. Our apartment wasn't very clean, and there were bugs everywhere. The sink was clogged, and both the fridge and oven were broken. It felt a bit like glamping, or a 2-star hotel in the US. I wouldn't stay again, though it could suit someone who cares most about the scenery.

There's no breakfast service, the Wi-Fi is very weak, and the soundproofing is poor. The bathroom was dirty and the tap water tasted strange. Cats climbed onto the outdoor tables to steal food, and even got into our room to take some. At night, lots of bugs came inside. It's an okay place if you pay under 100 euros; any more feels like a complete waste of money. The stay was bad enough to make you swear.
