Hotel Clara

We spent a whole week here and really enjoyed it. The staff were the best, and the hotel itself is beautiful. Thanks so much, Roland and Melanie. If we're back at Kronplatz, this will be our first choice.

We won't be coming back, mainly because of the woman at reception. From the first day, she seemed irritated that we wanted to cancel the beach service and kept asking us for money. On our last night, she approached us for payment for a bottle as soon as we got up from the table. She also wanted to charge us for three days of beach service we hadn't used. In my view, this kind of attitude puts tourists off. It's a shame Mrs. Gigliola, the owner, has staff who came across as arrogant and unprofessional. Dear Gigliola, I hope you can find more professional people to work with. Be careful.

The rooms were kept clean, and Gigliola, Luca, and the waiters were always there when we needed them. My mother and I stayed at Hotel Clara from July 5 to July 12, 2025, and felt like part of the family. Gigliola made breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a generous breakfast and delicious food throughout. Compliments to her, and thank you all for everything!

The location made it easy to get to Viale Dante and the beach, both just a short walk away. It was also peaceful, a good fit for couples or families wanting a relaxing break. We were new to the hotel but felt at home straight away, thanks to Mrs. Gigliola, her son Luca, and the welcoming staff. Breakfast was plentiful, with lots of fresh sweet and savory choices over the three mornings we were there, all lovingly prepared by Mrs. Gigliola. Our room was clean, welcoming, and had options to suit different needs and budgets. The parking arrangement worked really well too, especially the 24-hour shuttle that could drop us off and pick us up when we needed the car. Thank you for such a warm welcome. We’ll be back soon.
