B&B Hotel Treviso

We were here for the Olympics, and the location worked well for sightseeing around town. It was also easy enough to get to Treviso station. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I’d highly recommend the place and stay again.

The sewage smell in the room made it impossible for me to sleep. After just one night, my husband’s throat was burning. I understand only certain parts of the building are affected, but I’d recommend staying somewhere else. There were plenty of other problems too: moldy walls, peeling plaster, thick dust on the elevator, thin walls where you could hear everything, and dirty hallways. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The bathroom sink stopper got stuck and wouldn’t come up, so I had to brush my teeth in the shower. Great. There was a “SAVE WATER” sign above the toilet, and I was left wondering whether flushing after using it was okay. I wanted to add a sign saying, “SAVE US FROM NERVES.” The room door was faulty and wouldn’t lock. The front desk said it couldn’t be fixed, and that I had to lift it using a pretty intense physical maneuver. I later found the room door open, probably because whoever came in to clean didn’t know the procedure I’d been given. I would have liked to save water, BUT...

The staff were all very kind, and breakfast was really good. The area is lovely, with the town centre within walking distance. The rooms were okay and very big.
