The staff were professional and great, and the place had that cared-for, everything-you-need hotel feel. Breakfast covered sweet, savory, and vegan choices, with coffee made fresh. My room was comfortable, and the bed was great even for someone as tall as me. For the first time in years, I couldn’t find anything to be dissatisfied with.

The room was spacious, with a lovely street view, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is very beautiful, with an elevator and a fireplace in the breakfast area. Soundproofing was the one downside, though it may be because the building is historic.

When I had trouble getting a missing bag back from a trip, the staff took time to find someone who spoke the language and help me sort out the details. The service was fantastic. Fresh fruit at breakfast was everything that’s good about Italy. An excellent hotel.

Albergo Alla Posta hotel is lovely for a three star stay, though it could use some renovation. It’s well placed, with a supermarket and the city center right nearby. Breakfast was great, with lots of good choices, including organic yogurts, delicious almond cake, plenty of savory food, and things I haven’t found at other Italian hotels. The staff made the visit special: Victoria and Sylvia at reception and Esther in the breakfast room were kind, professional, and full of tips that made my trip unforgettable. The cleaning staff were wonderful too, always warm and friendly and greeting me with a smile. I loved it 🥰

The location was great, and it was kind of them to look after our bags after checkout so we could spend one more day enjoying Trieste. Nice hotel.
