The only possible downside is the lack of air conditioning. It was very hot, but we didn’t end up missing it. The house is on the second floor and there’s no elevator. It’s lovely, with a garden in the hills of Trieste, comfortable and furnished with taste. The extra cost feels worthwhile compared with other options. The hosts are friendly and welcoming.

Piazza dell'Unità is about a ten-minute walk away, making this a handy base for visiting beautiful Trieste. The apartment is very well kept and has everything you need. The owner is also very helpful. Recommended.
