Our room had plenty of space for the family, enough for our little one to run around. They’d even left a teddy bear in the cot for our daughter, which was a lovely surprise. The only thing missing was a bathroom shelf for toiletries. Everything else was great.

CX Trieste Giulia The family room was spacious, and my family loved it. Staff were friendly and flexible when we arrived, and the free drink voucher was a nice touch. CX has a hotel section on the 9th floor, though it’s primarily a hostel hotel for student accommodation. The lack of hot food made it feel a bit pricey. I’ve stayed elsewhere for almost £100 less, where my children ate all their meals for free, including a hot buffet breakfast, and dinner came with a free glass of wine. I gave that hotel 5 stars, so I couldn’t give CX the same rating. It’s an excellent hotel and I highly recommend it, but there’s no hot food.

The staff are very helpful, and the hotel is close to the city, with bus 9 nearby. Breakfast wasn’t so good, better to buy something next door. There’s no parking.

The view from the window was beautiful and made the stay more enjoyable. Everything was spotless, and the room felt newly renovated. It was spacious and comfortable, with useful power outlets in the qube and a welcome card. I also appreciated the hygiene pack with separate shower gel and shampoo. At check-in I got a card for a free drink, a very nice welcome gesture. The hotel had everything I needed.

I thought the hostel itself was amazing, but I really didn’t like the breakfast. Maybe it’s just my taste :)
