The hotel sits outside the crowded part of town, but everything is still walkable. It's near Piazza di Roma, the railway station, the airport bus and the vaporetto. The rooms are good and quiet, and the hot shower had strong pressure. Breakfast was nice: the croissants, coffee and cake were delicious, though the bread could have been fresher. Staff were friendly. Our room was too warm for December even with the heat off, but opening the window made it comfortable for us. There was no tea or coffee maker, and we got two water bottles for one night with no refill. Recommended.

Hotel Gardena made for a comfortable, charming stay. It's well placed near the Grand Canal and train station, making Venice's main sights easy to reach. Our room was cozy and clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful the whole time.

The breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, too. It's a wonderful, well-located hotel near the station and a great base for exploring Venice. Highly recommend!

Debora gave us excellent tips on finding places to eat like locals, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Our Room 305 had a lovely direct view over the canal, and the hotel itself is beautiful. We stayed two nights. The location and service were great, but we were uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning didn't cool enough. There were two windows, but just one blackout curtain, and it only covered half of each window.

Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of choices, and there’s a lovely courtyard. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom sink had a small problem, but they fixed it straight away. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for the train while still quiet at night. We'd absolutely stay at Hotel Gardena again.
