I’d seen the bad reviews from a year ago, but my stay was very good and I think this place is underrated. We were welcomed by the host in the morning, five hours before check-in. The room was spacious and clean, with A\C, a fridge, TV, a large wardrobe, and four beds. There’s a nice balcony view, and two shared WC/shower rooms for this room and three others. The price felt very good for what we got. It’s close to the train station and the bus station for Venice.

The air conditioning barely worked, and the areas beneath the beds were so filthy that I was surprised I didn’t come away with bedbugs. Other guests left the bathrooms dirty and didn’t flush the toilets. Since this is a residential building, showering after 11pm isn’t allowed, and there’s a constant threat of calling the police if you make any noise.

They said Wi-Fi and showers would be available, but there was no Wi-Fi and the shower had no hot water. The neighbors were very loud after 23:00. I can’t recommend this place.
