Our booking for September 2025 was cancelled by the property three days before check-in. Booking.com initially made sure we weren't charged for the cancellation, then told us to request the refund from the property directly. My emails, messages, and calls got no response. After two months and repeated requests, Booking.com finally issued the refund. Save yourself the headache and don't book with Ca' dei Polo.

The property cancelled our Booking.com reservation at short notice, and I've been trying to get my money back ever since. My messages and emails, like those of other reviewers, have gone unanswered. I'm still out of pocket. How many hundreds, even thousands, of euros is this company holding? Three weeks after my original post, there's still no resolution. Booking.com is now supposed to be handling it, but I still haven't received a refund. The more reviews I read, the more I see the same story. Booking.com should remove this hotel from its site. Shame on them for continuing to list it and take people's money.

We booked in April, but the hotel cancelled our reservation just six days before we were due to arrive, saying heavy rains meant they couldn't accommodate everyone. They said they'd help us find another apartment and cover the difference in price. Thankfully, we found one ourselves, or the trip would have been ruined. It's been more than a month and a half since then, and we still have no refund or compensation, and the hotel hasn't replied. We know unexpected things can happen, but they still need to return the money. Shame on you! :(

A total SCAM. I'd give zero stars if I could. We booked through Booking.com in March. The hotel charged my card directly two days before booking, then cancelled our reservation 10 days before we were due to arrive. Having to rebook at short notice cost us more, and as of now they still have our money. No replies to calls or messages, no communication, no refund. I also blame Booking.com for letting them keep taking customers' money. They charged me 146.75 euros for one night, but the invoice I downloaded from their site before the cancellation and loss of access to all the information showed 141.75 euros. So they also took 5 euros more than the invoice said. I'm really disappointed and frustrated by how this all turned out.
