The room was nice, and the location was great for the price. It was an easy walk to everywhere, and the grapevine pergola below our window made the hotel easy to spot. The shower pressure could be better. Staff are only there in the morning, so service is limited. The biggest hassle was having no elevator, since we had to carry our luggage up the stairs.

We’d definitely stay here again. The hotel has tasteful decor, and the reception staff we met were friendly, kind, and helpful. It’s a comfortable walk to the main sights, and there’s a dock a few8 minutes away on foot where you can catch a boat to the islands. A lovely boutique hotel for a Venice stay.

The room and building were beautiful, and the location was great, just off the busy tourist path. But the room was really hot. When we asked about the advertised AC, the hotel said they don’t turn it on until June or July and suggested we sleep with the windows open. We tried that and woke up covered in mosquito bites, so we had a pretty miserable few nights of sleep. I think having the AC on would have made this a five-star stay.

The air conditioning was a lifesaver for a northern Brit like me, since I find anything over 25c unpleasant. The room was very comfortable, with a decent shower even for a tall person and a bed more than big enough for a taller-than-average couple. I think we were in one of the cheaper rooms. It’s a quaint hotel with some character, in a very quiet part of Venice but still close to the good stuff. I can’t fault the quality.
