Cinqueteste Luxury Home Venice

A lovely, quiet place near the centre of Venice. It's clean and gorgeous, and clearly looked after with great care. Everything is tastefully decorated with a wonderful Italian feel. The host was so kind and thoughtful. I can't recommend it enough!

Luana and Norberto made us feel welcome in their home. We booked all three rooms, and it felt like having a private house with a full staff right in busy Venice. Luana was quick and easy to reach from the start, and had planned several cicchetti walks for us, though we only made it to one bar. Restaurants and bars are an easy stroll away. I'd learned on my sixth visit to Venice that I prefer quieter parts like Santa Croce or Dorsoduro. Cinque Teste is a quick walk over the bridge from Ste Lucia, but feels a world away from the crowds. The big, hidden garden was a refuge from the masses around San Marco, while the sights were still an easy 20 minute walk once the busloads had gone. The house and rooms were immaculate and comfortable, with lovely beds, good linens, and beautiful decor. Some rooms face a small canal, others look onto the garden filled with birdsong. There was a mini fridge with cold still and sparkling water. Breakfast was a proper spread, homemade yogurt, local ham, pastries, fruit, and coffee. The garden was tranquil too. Thanks for having us. We had a great weekend and Luana and Norberto welcomed us with wonderful hospitality. The location was quiet and convenient, with main sights and restaurants only a short walk away. Our room was spacious and airy, with a canal just below the window. The clean, inviting villa also had a large peaceful yard. Breakfast came with bread, several coffee choices, fresh fruit, and homemade yogurt. We loved our stay and highly recommend Cinqueteste to anyone visiting Venice.

It's a quieter part of Venice, so walking home didn't mean facing overwhelming crowds, and both the bus and train stations are close by. The location was perfect for us. The host gave generously of her time and knowledge from the start. The rooms and house were impeccable, and everything was beautifully decorated. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come back next time we're in Venice. It made the trip feel extra special.
