The location is great, right beside the plaza, and the woman who checked us in was fantastic. She went out of her way to help. The rooms were functional, though there was no coffee, and the discount vouchers they gave us were for some average restaurants. Check-in happens at a different address, parking is hard to find, and the rooms are in an office-type building with an unappealing entrance hallway.

Comfortable, quiet apartments at a nice price.

The room was large and easily fit three people, and the location is very central. We had a minor issue that wasn’t the property’s fault, but it was sorted out quickly. The bathroom fan was the one real drawback: incredibly loud and impossible to use.

This is more of a basic guesthouse than a classic hotel, and at around €100 for a double room, the price is just for somewhere to sleep. There’s no breakfast, restaurant discount, parking discount, or in-person service. Everything is handled through WhatsApp. The setup is an apartment split into four small rooms, each with the essentials for a stay. Room 3 was adequate, but its only two windows faced a narrow inner courtyard, so it wasn’t a good choice if you like light or a view. The bathroom was clean and spacious, perhaps too large for the room, though the shower looked a bit dated. The central Piazza Tommaso location is only a few hundred meters from Trieste’s main tourist area. It could suit someone staying just one night or needing a place to sleep, but for a longer or more comfortable stay, I’d look elsewhere.
