Suites Le Saline

I booked because the name and description promised luxury, but the room was tiny, dark, and nothing like the photos. The furniture was old and scratched, the walls were dirty and marked, and a musty smell was covered with cheap chemical air fresheners that made the air worse. The bathroom was cramped and shabby, with stains and a dented bin. Exposed wires and poor upkeep gave the place a neglected feel, more like a budget hostel with bedbug vibes than anything luxurious. I left after just 10 minutes, gave up the booking, and paid for another hotel that matched its description. I raised my concerns with staff, but they offered no real solution or compensation. For the price and the luxury promise, it was appalling and felt like a scam. Guests deserve honest descriptions, cleanliness, and a basic standard of quality, and I found none of that here. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

The rooms are spacious, with historic furniture and modern bathrooms, and breakfast was great. It’s very close to the station and near the city center. The staff were lovely and made us feel at home. Recommend!

The coffee was smooth and tasty. It’s in a lovely old traditional house, and the waiter was polite. I absolutely recommend this place 👍
