Villa Marra

The private outdoor parking was spacious and a huge help, and the location worked perfectly for visiting Burlo Hospital. Breakfast wasn’t included, but there’s a complimentary hot drink dispenser and packaged pastries, which was a thoughtful extra. Our room was new, clean, and roomy, with comfortable beds, good heating, and a fully equipped bathroom. Check-in was quick and friendly. Thanks for your hospitality!

The accommodation itself is modest, and I’d say the owners may still be inexperienced in the business, though they’re very helpful. It works well for an emergency overnight stay. Just a few steps away, they have a pizzeria restaurant with excellent food at reasonable prices. The staff are efficient and happy to chat with guests. If you’re in the area, I recommend giving it a try.

There were cobwebs, stains on the walls, and spiders everywhere. Some of the bathroom lights didn’t work either. For what it costs, it’s not worth it.

The owner was nice and explained everything we needed to know. Check-in could be arranged a little later, which worked fine. We might stay here again if we came back to the same area. We picked it because of the parking, and coming from Koper that turned out to be the right call. There’s a bus stop, restaurant, and supermarket nearby. The room had new furniture, and in the hallway there was a fridge, cold water, a coffee machine, and croissants. If coffee and pastries are enough for you, you could count that as breakfast included :D The air conditioning and blinds worked well. The bathroom could have been cleaner, though the rest of the place was clean.
