The owner was exceptional, and I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Trieste. I spent one night at this wonderful B&B, a villa dating to 1846 that was renovated in the 1980s. Both the rooms and bathrooms are beautiful and completely new, and everything was extremely clean. The villa's architecture and furnishings are lovely and carefully put together.

I had researched carefully because I was so keen to stay at Villa Tullibec in Trieste. Then, just 30 minutes before we were due to arrive, Booking.com emailed us and the owner sent a WhatsApp message to say we'd been given a booking despite there not being enough rooms. Such a shame.

A lovely stay for a very fair price. The place was clean and looked after, and it had everything we needed, so there was no need to pack things from home.

They cancelled our booking just half an hour before check-in, even though we'd made it more than a month earlier. We had to rush around looking for somewhere else. Very unprofessional, and I definitely can't recommend them.
