The village felt cozy and like real Italy, away from the tourist trail. We liked the balcony overlooking the street, and parking right outside the hotel was easy. Breakfast was included, the rooms were nice, and the staff were excellent. It was much better than we expected.

For a three-star hotel, I expected more. The air conditioner couldn't handle the 40° heat, and there wasn't a fridge in the room. Breakfast was hot chocolate cake. Bizarre.

I haven't stayed there yet, so this four-star rating is based on Mr. Mario's kindness. We've only spoken on the phone, but I have a lot of experience staying in hotels and think it deserves four stars. I'm hoping I'll get the chance to complete the rating after a stay. Congratulations!

We arrived at midnight and the owner asked for payment upfront. Perhaps he knew what we were walking into: we left at 3 a.m. The room had no windows, and we felt sealed in, close to collapsing from the lack of oxygen. When the power went out, we were left in total darkness because the emergency light didn't work. Wires were exposed and unprotected, and there was no refrigerator. The owner never asked why we left so suddenly. A REAL NIGHTMARE. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY.

For a work trip in the off-season, I only stayed one night and wasn't expecting much. The room and bathroom surprised me: both were extremely clean and seemed brand new, cleaner than places I've stayed before. The reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast was average, with some packaged food, but that's okay. The location is central. Recommended.
