We stayed at B&B Vanity, which made it easy to explore the center of Tropea on foot. There’s plenty to see and do, with restaurants, pizzerias, bars for coffee or drinks, shops, gelaterias, and historic sites all around. We happened to be there for Liberation Day on April 25th, and there were crowds, music, and dancing. A fun time!

The old town has lots of character and has been adapted for tourism while still keeping the feel of Italy. You can find great food and local businesses selling goods from the area. Tropea itself is beautiful and well worth a visit.
