We’ve stayed here several years running, from 2010-2018, and would happily come again. Honestly, I’d love to rent the whole place. We really love it here.

The house keeps the character of a farmhouse while still offering all the comforts, including a lovely fireplace. It’s a quiet, welcoming spot in the Umbrian countryside, a few kilometers from Perugia, Lake Trasimeno, and Montepulciano. There’s a beautiful pool among the greenery and a playground for children.

There’s plenty to do nearby, from cycling and taking in the views around Montegualandro Castle to visiting Castiglione del Lago, Passignano, and Cortona. Don’t leave without seeing Palazzo della Corgna, it’s wonderful. Back at this peaceful spot between Umbria and Tuscany, we had a fully equipped, stylishly renovated apartment and a pool with hydromassage tubs among the olive groves. The family was welcoming and discreet.

The apartments were clean and well equipped, and the pool and grounds were great. The older, traditional buildings have a charm of their own.
