BB La Terrazza Alla Ghiacciaia

We were put up in a room in a building across from the actual B&B. The furniture was old, and the linens certainly didn't smell fresh. I put "slept" in quotation marks because the spring mattresses were so worn they couldn't support even someone my size, at 65 kg. Breakfast is best avoided. At 85 €, the value for money was unacceptable. The real B&B looks lovely in the photos, and I have no doubt it's nice, but assigning me a room like this one was unacceptable. It felt like a student dorm. The one positive was that the woman at the front desk was willing to welcome us even late in the evening. Never again.

The owners rent out rooms in the apartment where they live, so you're staying in someone else's home with them. That's not a B&B! I've never come across anything like it.

The owner was friendly and helpful. The place was reasonably clean, and there was internet access and use of the kitchen.

I remember my stay with Cecylia fondly. It was in May 2015, and I highly recommend the place.
