Antico Distretto

It’s not a new or modern hotel, but it was clean and very good for the price. The croissants at breakfast were delicious, and the staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful.

The area wasn’t fancy, but it was well kept and we felt safe, with downtown close by. We had a secure place to park in the courtyard. The staff were courteous and kind, and the room was cleaned and the towels changed every day. The furniture was a bit old-fashioned, but the bathroom had been refurbished. There was plenty of space, a shower bigger than the usual tiny European one, and a bed larger than a queen. Great stay for what we paid.

The rooms are simple, without any luxury, but the receptionist was so kind. It’s very central, on a good city block, and there’s parking inside. We had an excellent experience.

The only good thing was the very central location. For a 2-star hotel, we paid 125 euro per night for two adults and a child, and the room wasn’t cleaned properly. The double bed was made of two pieces. There was no internet or Wi-Fi in the room, only downstairs. The AC had no remote, and they told us to contact reception if we needed it. The room phone didn’t work either, so to reach reception we had to go back down three floors. Staff seemed in a hurry and weren’t very helpful. Do not go there, not recommended.
