Federica is a wonderful host, and the room is beautiful and clean. It’s also conveniently close to everything, so I highly recommend staying here when visiting Turin.

Federica struck a lovely balance: friendly and helpful, while giving us our privacy. She welcomed us warmly, gave us a map and answered our questions, then showed us to a perfectly appointed room in her beautiful home. Breakfast was out of this world, delicious and beautifully presented. Il Gioiellino is in a charming old building on a street lined with beautiful buildings and long stretches of arcaded sidewalks. Torino itself is wonderful, with architecture everywhere, little sidewalk cafes and gelateria, great restaurants and museums, and a Metro that’s easy to navigate. We really enjoyed our time in the city, and among the many nice places we stayed in Italy, Il Gioiellino was our favorite.

The room was perfect, cleaned every day, with a coffee machine and a fully stocked fridge just outside the door. There’s a metro station right outside the building, too. Federica was an awesome, friendly host who was happy to help with directions and advice on getting around.

Federica was the standout for us, always around to help and offer suggestions. The boutique hotel is lovely, with spacious, nicely furnished rooms, and its spot on Corso Vittorio Emanuele Ii is convenient. Highly recommended.
