The cottage stays cool and has a lovely terrace where you can sit out of the sun, or even the rain. Its kitchen was handy, and the fridge and cupboard had delicious food, much more than we've found in other places. We spent lots of time around the beautiful pool, ringed with rose bushes. The cottage and everything outside it felt practical, well designed and tastefully put together. We had a wonderful holiday here in July 2023. The owners were kind and very discreet, and the valley setting was gorgeous, full of fruit trees, olive trees and flowers. Our 11-year-old daughter, and her parents too, loved seeing the animals, especially the cats, pretty chickens and little goat. The place is a little paradise in nature, reached by a long unpaved road that was well maintained and easy enough to drive, even in our small car. Urbino is about twenty minutes away and worth visiting more than once. We also went to Urbania, Castello sul Metauro, Marmitte dei Giganti and Gola del Furlo, among other places. Thanks to our hosts for being so welcoming!

The apartments are full of thoughtful details, and Claudio and Valeria made us feel so welcome. We had picked our apartment from the photos and reviews, but seeing it in person still amazed us. It felt like arriving home, and the place helped us feel reconnected with the world. Everything was beautiful inside and out. It's a lovely option for all sorts of holidays, whether you want to relax, go hiking or simply enjoy nature. There are lots of beautiful places to visit nearby. Families with small children should feel at ease too, since there aren't dangerous spots around, and the kids can play with Quercia, the owners' pug, and their familiar goat.

Claudio and Valeria are super friendly and helpful. Their place is a little slice of paradise in the Italian hills, in a beautifully restored farmhouse. The apartments are compact but very neat, with two spacious bedrooms and a small kitchen-diner and living room. The limited indoor space is more than made up for by the fantastic outdoor area. It's close to Urbino and a great fit for anyone who likes nature, quiet and cycling in the mountains.

A gorgeous way to experience Italian country life, surrounded by nature. It has the feel of living like a Renaissance king. The ancient town of Urbino and Aqualagna, the truffle capital of the world, are both a 30 min drive away.
